A Rotadip is a unique way of removing 'dross' or oxides that build up on the surface of a static solder pot or bath, to provide a virgin surface of solder for component parts to be dip tinned.

 

A range of different operating temperatures and control accuracies for the solder pot, up to 550 degrees C are available together with a range of different pot diameters up to 304 mm.

In addition to the established fixed speed, a new range of Variable Speed Rotadips is now available allowing various rotation speeds from 0 to 22 rpm to suit a wide range of applications. This feature allows the speed of rotation to be altered to suit the cycle time, when the Rotadips are incorporated as a soldering station as part of a semi or fully automatic machine.

Rotadips can be used as an individual soldering station and, if appropriate, let into a worktop and incorporated with a fluxing station and centrally pivoted pillar with a jig arm containing the component parts to be dipped. This system provides for very accurate dipping depths of the components and is known as our Low Cost Dipping Station.

Where output requirements demand the use of semi automatic dipping systems Solbraze manufacture a range of rotary indexing Soldip and Autodip linear machines all complete with fluxing and dip soldering stations as well as pre-heat when required.

Single dipping stations for low/medium volume dip soldering requiring accuracy of dipping parameters are also available and can also be used as Solderability Testers.

Fume Extraction units for use with the soldering irons, solder pots and dip soldering units described above are also available with air purification factors of up to 99.997%.
