Solbraze products are designed to work with the new Lead Free directive.

A large number of our customers are affected by the Lead Free Solder Regulations, due in to force next year.  Solbraze Ltd has been producing equipment to work with Lead Free Solder for some 45 years without any noticeable effect on the equipment. 

Some customers have expressed concern regarding the contamination of leaded solder to soldering equipment (such as baths and pots) - particularly where these units have been used extensively as lead may contaminate the bath over time.  For these customers replacement solder pots or baths are preferred.  These allow for simultaneous trials to take place whilst you are evaluating the properties of your chosen lead free solder.  It should be noted that there are no direct comparisons that can drawn between leaded and lead free solders so a number of trials may be necessary.
