With a very large variety of customers operating
Rotadips at different temperature ranges from 220
°C to 550
°C, it became very obvious that a fixed rotational speed of the Rotadip was not going to cover the very wide variety of temperatures and thus dross formation frequency which were now being used.
On this basis it was decided to introduce a Rotadip with a variable speed.
This is so as to increase or decrease the pot rotational speed to suit the build up of dross. With dross, the higher the operating temperature, the quicker the dross forms and therefore the need for a faster revolution in order to keep the solder surface clear of dross.
The products were live tested in our factory to ensure that they continue to offer the extremely long length of service that Solbraze Rotadip customers are used to. The pots have also been designed to work with 'new' lead-free solders without any noticable affect on the solder pot (see Lead Free brief in the news items).
The products were recently launched and have since been well received by customers. The same ancillary items, such as Automatic Wire Feed and digital temperature controllers are also available.
